Tensions Are High As Both Woodbury And The Prison Prep For Battle, It's Your Season 3, Episode 11 Recap of The Walking Dead With Miggs

This week as both sides prepped for war, the prison was dealt the addition task of integrating Merle to the group. Lets face it- yes he's nuts and probably started this whole war in the first place, but if keeping him means keeping Daryl then you have to sign off on it.

Rick is inside his own mind again, and the added stresses of having a group of survivors rely on him is really getting to him. Even his young son Carl tells him to throw in the towel and let someone else take control.  Followed by Herschel calling Rick out by saying you wanted a Ricktatorship, well  now is your time to lead. Rick better get his act together because shits about to hit the fan.

Back at Woodbury the Governor starts a teenage solider draft, training every able bodied person in Woodbury to carry and use a weapon. Andrea once again bought this guys’ BS that the people at the prison shot first during last weeks attack. She is so naive and keeps going back to this guy,  which begs the question of how would Rhianna fair during a Zombie apocalypse?

Andrea then defies the Governor’s orders and takes a little trip to the prison. Along the way Milton and her bump into Tyrese and company, who end up going back Woodbury while Andrea continues on her quest to make things right with her old group. But seriously, how big is this area that these people keep bumping into each other so easily?

Unsurprisingly, Andrea is not welcomed back with open arms by her old group. Rick aggressively disarms her at first and treats her like a POW. Afterwards they explain to her how they were attacked by the Governor’s men and even lost one of their own in the process. Eventually it becomes clear to Andrea that she is in the best position out of any of them to put a stop to this, and before leaving Carroll advises her to seduce the one eyed bandit and murder him during a moment of vulnerability.

When Andrea returns to Woodbury, she does in fact bang the Governor and nearly does her best Laurana Bobbet impression before getting cold feet as she hovered above his sleeping body, knife in hand.

All in all this episode was pretty boring, but it did show that both sides are gearing up for what it sure to be a lot of bloodshed. One big factor is going to be which side Tyrese decides to fight for. My money is he's going to find out the Governor ain't no good and will return to the prison. If you watched carefully you could kinda see Governor eye Tyrese’s daughter, which could show his creepshow colors that way. Check back next week as we find out who gains the upper hand in this undead world war.
